Beth DeFazio teaches Public Speaking and Biblical Communication at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. She has been speaking at women’s and youth events for fifteen years and enjoys engaging with others in worship, study, and community.
Michael is Professor of New Testament and Hermeneutics at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO.
In 2003 he married Beth (who also serves as a Professor at Ozark) and together they enjoy two children who do and say hilarious things on a regular basis – Claire (born May 2010) and Carson (April 2013). He loves books, coffee, sports, camping, watching his kids jump on the trampoline, hanging out with Beth, and helping people see Jesus clearly.
Their family of four enjoys family movie nights, board games, road trips, and Sonic Happy Hour.

Freedom Calls is a team of worship leaders from Central, PA who seeks to draw others into life-changing encounters with Jesus through contemporary Christian music and visual arts. Founded in 2013, the band has continued to inspire times of powerful praise and intimate worship at conferences, camps, churches, and other ministry events while declaring the truth of Galations 5:1 – there is freedom found in Christ.
